This was taken exactly a week ago. At the beach comfortably in a t-shirt. Two days later we had freezing rain. Mother Nature needs some chocolate and a back rub.

That bite. You know what I'm talking about. That chill, crispness in the air where you think you can almost see your breath. The humidity has dropped and the air gone dry. The transition begins. Enjoy what little warmth is left.
As the weather warms up the closer to the beach I get and the many beautiful forms that want to follow me there. The freedom of the openness, warm water, warm sun, warm sand...you get the idea. Then there is the sound of the water. Such a beautiful, soothing, healing sound. Soon, Lord Neptune, soon.

No matter how you prepare life keeps you on your toes, constantly challenging you. You think you'll never succeed at anything or get to that "mythical" place of contentment. Survival is the success. To keep breathing, to keep fighting, to always get back up and do it with a smile.
